PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a charging control apparatus in which an ordinary charging operation is performed mainly by a second charging device in cases other than a case where a short-time charging operation is required and which makes the life of a charging-type battery long by a method wherein a first charging device whose output current is larger than the capacity per time of the charging-type battery is provided and the second charging device whose output current is smaller than the capacity per time of the charging-type battery is provided. SOLUTION: A first charging device 21 is constituted of a circuit whose capacity can output an output current at the rated capacity or higher of a charging-type battery BT. On the other hand, a second charging device 22 is constituted of a circuit whose capacity can output an output current at the rated capacity or lower of the charging-type battery BT. Then, the charging start voltage of the charging-type battery BT is detected by a voltage detection circuit 23, and a controller 12 drives the first charging device 21 or the second charging device 22 via a relay 15 or a relay 17, and a charging operation is performed to the charging-type battery BT. At this time, only when a boosting charge is required, the charging operation is performed by using the first charging device 21. In cases other than a case where the boosting charge is required, the charging operation is performed by the second charging device 22 whose output current is small and whose influence on the life of the charging-type battery BT is small.
