Opaque polyester film as substrate with white coatings on both sides

A polymeric film has an opaque substrate layer having an optical density greater than 2.0, and on at least one surface thereof a white outer layer. The substrate layer preferably contains carbon black. The film preferably has two white outer layers, and is particularly suitable for imaging on both surfaces thereof.
