Bristles (10), bent over at the centre, of each bristle tuft are gripped, in the bent-over region, in an elongate sleeve (11), said sleeves (11) being pushed into retaining profiles (12a). The retaining profiles (12a) each exhibit, corresponding to the outer shape of the sleeves (11), a hollow cross-section which is rounded out widely to the side in the bent-over region and is constricted to form a narrow neck part (14) in the region of the outlet cross-section. In the region of the neck part (14) of the retaining profiles (12a), the sleeve ends (13) run approximately parallel to one another and extend beyond the neck part (14) in the region of the free bristle ends. This results in a simplification in the production of the sleeve (11) and an altogether prolonged service life of the circular brush. <IMAGE> |
