Backbone straightening device

The device comprises a base support (2) supporting a number of support members (5), such that one or more central support members are flanked by support members angled toward the central member or members in order to provide a corrective platform for the backbone of a patient when the patient lies upon the device. At least two support members, one either side of the vertical member, may be angled towards the vertical member such that the angled members are in contact with the vertical member. The base support may have cavities (3,4) into which supporting members, that are reversibly removable from the base support, may be located. The base support may also comprise a base plate and a platform member (1) secured to the base plate.
