A bending machine has a bending cheek (22), a first (12) and a second (16) clamping cheeks for clamping a workpiece (36). One clamping cheek has exchangeable clamping tool segments (30, 32) and at least one clamping tool segment (32) has a sole part (42) which is mounted on an upper part (46) and can be moved back and forth relative thereto between a clamping position and a positioning position. In order to improve such a bending machine so that this clamping tool segment (32) with a movable sole can be more easily handled, a line-free drive (106) for moving the sole part (42) is arranged in the upper part (46) of the clamping tool segment (32) with a movable sole, and the drive (106) has a power-receiving element (100) which transmits driving energy, when contacting an energy supply element (110), to an activation device (108) arranged on the bending machine. |
