<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve startability of an engine by measuring a time until an engine speed reaches a prescribed engine speed, and driving a starter motor by extending a time according to a time which takes its measured time. SOLUTION: The start signal of a starter timer 15a is transmitted to a starter motor 17 so as to start an engine, and also the start signal is transmitted to a timer circuit 42 so as to start timer operation. Engine speed is detected by a circuit 40, and compared with a referential rotational speed in a circuit 41. When engine speed exceeds the referential rotational speed, a high-level signal is transmitted to the circuit 42 as a signal for stopping timer operation, and a time until the engine speed reaches a referential rotational speed is measured. In the circuit 42, its time signal is transmitted to a delay circuit 43 in which a delay time is read in from a characteristic map stored in a memory 44, the high-level signal transmitted from the circuit 41 on the basis of its delay time is delayed, and then the high-level signal is transmitted to the reset terminal R of a timer circuit 15.</p> |
