PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support a bar at its middle point effectively, damp the vibrations generated, and allow passage of a pusher having a larger diameter. SOLUTION: A device concerned is to support and perform center aligning of a bar supplied from a bar magazine to a race device and equipped with a plurality of rods 11 whose ends are supported by a first support element 12 and a second support element 13, and a passage 19 for bars is partitioned in these rods so that the support elements 12 and 13 can make relative rotation around the axis 36 of the passage, and the rods 11 are inclined relative to the axis 36 to change the crosswise dimension of the passage. |
