摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form images having neither white stripe nor black stripe by a method wherein respective dots of a LED head are grouped by the light amount variation by driving the LED head so as to have the light amounts, which are larger than the upper limit value of a certain amount of light amount range provided to the variation of the light amount data of every dot, to the respective dots. SOLUTION: Data having the light amount of L2 or less are read out of a ROM 2 and ANDed with the image data in the same time and inputted in a data register. After the data of 2,560 dots are inputted a LED head is driven with the pulse width of k2to. Next, data ranging between the light amounts L1 and L2 are read out of a ROMO and ANDed with the image data in the same line and inputted in the data register. After the data of 2,560 dots are inputted, the LED head is driven with the pulse width of to. As for the image data after the following line or later, the LED head is driven in the same method as mentioned above. Thus, the correction of light amount can be performed on the LED head having the light amount level of L1 or more and on that having the light amount level of L2 or less.</p>
