This invention explains how, polyurethanes having an improved treatment, are prepared by reacting a) diisocianates and/or organic polyisocianates, and/or modified organics, with b) polyether polyols based on aromatic amines, capable of being prepared by reacting specific amine combinations and, if so desired, additional co-initiators in a molecular addition by stages of alkylene oxide, and also, if so desired, additional compounds of relatively high molecular weight containing at least two reactive hydrogen atoms, and, if desired, c) diluents and/or low molecular weight chain cross linkers, in the presence of d) swelling agents, e) catalysts and, if desired, f) additional aids and/or additives, wherein specific amine combination used in an amine mixture from diphenylmethane series consisting of 5 percent to 20 percent by weight of 4 rings-amine, 15 percent to 30 percent by weight of 3 rings-amine, 20 percent to 35 percent by weight of amines having more than 4 rings and from 25 percent to 50 percent by weight of 2 rings-amine, wherein rates are summed up to 100 percent by weight, in combination with additional aromatic amines.
