A ride-on grass mower (1) has a collecting bin (3) for the mown grass, with its outlet equipped with a shutter connected to a lever which allows it to be operated by the driver without leaving his seat. The shutter can be made from a series of articulated slats engaging with guide rails at the side of the bin which allow it to be opened by simply pulling on a handle. In a variant the shutter can be in the form of a hinged panel which is opened by a lever. In either case the shutter can be opened with one hand, its closure being effected by a return spring. |
