PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily drive a self-traveling vehicle even when its control equipment is brought abnormal to disable self-traveling and prolong the life of its change gear. SOLUTION: A change gear for a self-traveling vehicle comprises a speed-gear selector lever 1, a plurality of traveling actuators 6 to 9, and a controller 5 which receives a speed-gear signal sent from the gear selector lever 1, selects one actuator from the actuators 6 to 9 corresponding to the speed-gear signal and inputs one corresponding signal out of operation signals L7 to L10 to the selected one of the actuators 6 to 9. The change gear is provided with a line L11 in parallel to the controller 5 for directly inputting at least a forward first-speed-gear signal and a reverse first-speed-gear signal out of the speed-gear signals sent from the speed-gear selector lever 1 into corresponding actuators out of the actuators 6 to 9, and with a contact breaker 10 in the line L11. |
