PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a through and branch contact for a plug-in connector or a terminal, capable of being manufactured very inexpensively with respect to the manufacturing technology and having the possibility of as much simple connections as possible for a conductor in spite of less manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: A through and branch contact for a plug-in connector or a terminal for connecting plural conductors is integrally punched from a flat metal band and formed into a U-shape. Here, both ends of the through and branch contact forms a flat plug in 11 and a cut-in, tightening connection piece 21, plate springs 26a, 26b, 27a, and 27b are punched respectively from an end group pieces of the through and branch contact to be bent from a U-letter shaped low side distortion component into an angular shape, a free tightening edge thereof is oriented to a bottom side portion, and tightening connection pieces 26 and 27 are formed there.
