Data transmission method

The method involves transmitting data over a conductor through transmission of a sequence of a first or a second, from each other distinguishable, conditions on the conductor, which represent a high bit or a low bit. A third condition can be produced on the conductor, which is distinguishable from both first and second conditions, and which is processed as a synchronization signal. The synchronization signal is preferably formed by bringing the conductor for a predetermined minimum time into the third condition, and the data conductor is brought for a predetermined minimum time into the first or second condition to indicate a high or low bit, whereby a synchronization signal is transferred before each high or low bit.
