<p>The invention discloses a method for protecting the inside of buildings against the unwanted inflow of water, mud and other fluids, characterised in that a screen-film (1) made from a flexible and resistant sheet of waterproof material with one of its edges sealingly attached to a fixing and sealing bearing plate (2) is sealingly fixed by means of this bearing plate (2), on at least the threshold or the base and the jamb posts or the side members of the frame (14) of the opening or the bay to be protected. The flexible screen-film (1) is then unfurled and its free edges are folded, collected and sealingly fastened, for instance by bonding, heat sealing or by means of a binding wire (L), one rigid reinforcing wall (16) being finally arranged at the rear of the screen-film thus set up.</p> |
