Fuel control system for IC engine based on estimate of air-fuel ratio
摘要
The IC engine has sensors in the inlet system to monitor the air/fuel ratios for the individual cylinders and with the individual cylinders identified by sensors and a controller (5). The oxygen concentration in the exhaust system is identified for individual cylinders to allow separate adjustment for the fuel injectors. The exhaust sensors are positioned in the common duct fed by the exhaust manifold. The exhaust sensors comprise a linear oxygen concentration sensor (17) and a second oxygen sensor (18) with a first catalyser (19) between them. A second catalyser (20) is downstream of the second sensor. The controller applies a varying factor to the sensor signals depending on engine dynamics eg. engine speed.
