<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to clean an air diffusion pipe for diffusing the air supplied from a blower through an air feed pipe without taking this pipe outside a tank by connecting a fluid passing means for passing washing fluid into the air diffusion pipe to the air feed pipe via a valve device. SOLUTION: A membrane cartridge 3 is arrayed in the upper part in a case 2 of a membrane separating unit 1 immersed into the water 8 to be treated in a treating vessel 7 and the air diffusion pipe 4 is laid below this membrane cartridge 3. Air diffusion holes 4a are formed at the air diffusion pipe 4 and are communicated and connected with and to a blower 9 and a spare blower 10 via the air feed pipe 11 and branch pipe 11a. A compressor 16 is connected via a branch pipe 14 and an attachable and detachable universal joint 15 in the position of the air feed pipe 11 on the side nearer the air diffusion pipe 4 side than the valve device 12. In case clogging arises in the air diffusion pipe 4, both blowers 9, 10 are driven in the state of opening the valve devices 12, 11b and closing the valve device 13 to increase the internal pressure of the air diffusion pipe 4, by which the foreign matter in the air diffusion holes 4a and the pipe is blown off and the clogging is eliminated.</p> |
