<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide resin layer thickness detection that can correctly and easily detect and control thickness of a transparent or white resin layer. SOLUTION: This resin layer thickness detection comprises printing or coating a surface of an coating object with a transparent or white printing ink or coating ink mixed with a material that emits fluorescent light of the visible range by radiation of ultraviolet rays so as to form a resin layer on the surface, and detecting with a light-receiving device 6 the fluorescent light emitted from the resin layer 3 when ultraviolet rays are radiated onto the resin layer 3, thereby controlling the thickness of the resin layer 3 on the basis of the quantity of the fluorescent light.</p> |
