PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save space, etc., with a simple constitution and further, to detect the voltage of a main capacitor, even if a charging operation is not executed by providing a second control element for controlling the conduction and nonconduction of a voltage dividing circuit, with a control signal from the second control terminal. SOLUTION: When the charging of the main capacitor 17 is required, the control circuit of a camera transmits a high level signal through a voltage checking terminal (d). Therefore, the control electrode of a switching element 21 receives the high level signal, to obtain a conductive state. Resistance 13 has the appearance of a voltage obtained in such a manner that the charging voltage of the main capacitor 17 is divided by resistors 12 and 13, by the conduction of the element 21. At this time, the resistor 12 is at a resistance value of about 1MΩand the resistor 13 is set to be several k ohms, so that a potential appearing in the resistor 13 is set to be a low voltage which can be compared by an A/D converter, etc., even if the main capacitor 17 has a working voltage. Thus, the level of a high level voltage applied to the element 21 can be detected by the application of several volts. |
