PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress beat noises to be generated, when optical signals are multiplexed. SOLUTION: This transmission system is composed of plural slave station equipments 130, one host station equipment 110 and optical transmission line 120 for serially connecting the plural slave station equipment 130 and the host station equipment 110. The slave station equipment 130 is provided with an electric/optic converting part 136 for converting an electric signal to an optic signal, optic/electric converting part 132 for converting the optical signal to the electric signal, optical synthesizing/ branching part 131 for synthesizing the optical signal, inputted from the optical transmission line 120 and the optical signal outputted from the electric/optic converting part 136, outputting one part of synthesized signals to the optic/electric converting part 132 and outputting the remaining optical signal to the optical transmission line 120, noise level detecting part 133 for detecting a noise level at the prescribed frequency of the signal, outputted from the optic/electric converting part 132, control signal generating part 132 for outputting a control signal corresponding to the noise level detected by the noise level detecting part 133, and driving part 135 for outputting the electric signal to the electric/optic converting part 136, while controlling the condition for the electric signal based on the control signal outputted from the control signal generating part 134. |
