PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic ringing tone adjustment device in which the tone volume and tone quality of a ringing tone are adjusted automatically in matching with a surrounding noise in a mobile communication equipment such as a portable telephone set or a PHS. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a reception section 1 monitoring reception from a transmission opposite party, a microphone 6 picking up a surrounding noise at reception, a noise level measurement section 2 converting its level into a digital signal, ringing tone adjustment section 4 adjusting a tone volume and the tone quality of the ringing tone generated from a ringing tone generating section 7, a control signal generating section 3 calculating the tone volume and the tone quality for the ringing tone adjustment section 4 and sending the setting value to the section 4, and a speaker 5 from which the ringing tone is sounded. Thus, troubling surrounding persons at a still place or mis-hearing of the ringing tone in a noisy place is prevented by adjusting automatically the tone volume and the tone quality of the ringing tone at the reception. |
