The pot has a basket (1) fixed to a base (1a). The basket has a lateral wall (3) on the base and an upper wall (2) opposed to the base. There is an opening (16) forming an entry in the upper wall and fixings (14,15) for at least one cord (C) to allow the lifting of the pot. The opening can be formed offset in the upper wall towards the side with the cord fixings. The fixings are positioned so that the lifting of the pot is effected following the longitudinal direction of the pot. The edge of the basket can have a peripheral flange to rest on the base (4).
