PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject new carrier containing a nucleic acid bonding domain composed of a peptide having a basic amino acid residue and an OH- containing amino acid residue, a target tropism imparting domain and a polyethylene glycol domain and useful e.g. for introducing nucleic acid into a cell. SOLUTION: This new nucleic acid carrier contains a nucleic acid bonding domain composed of a peptide containing one or plural basic amino acid residues and one or plural amino acid residues containing hydroxyl groups in the molecule, a target tropism imparting domain and a polyethylene glycol domain. The carrier can introduce a nucleic acid such as foreign gene into a cell in high efficiency and is useful for gene therapy, etc. The nucleic acid carrier can be produced by bonding a nucleic acid bonding domain such as poly-L-lysine-L-serine with a polyethylene glycol domain to form a block copolymer and bonding a target tropism imparting domain composed of a ligand meeting the cell membrane, etc., containing at least one galactose residue to the formed block copolymer. |
