The invention relates to a method in and an arrangement for the manufacture of an elongated, hollow, rotationally symmetrical product such as a flagpole. At least one elongated, tubular mould (1) is successively charged with the material necessary for manufacture and which goes to form the product, such as release agent, gel coat, thermosetting plastic, etc. During at least part of the manufacturing process the mould is made to rotate about its axis before being finally discharged. According to the invention a number of moulds (1a-1p) in a manufacturing cycle are conveyed in stages by means of conveying elements (2) between charging stations for the various materials. After a given interval the moulds (1a-1p) are moved to the next station in the cycle. During a predetermined part of the manufacturing cycle the cylindrical surfaces of the moulds are brought into contact with at least one belt (5), the running speed of which determines the speed of rotation of the moulds (1i-1o). |
