PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain excellent picture display by constituting a driver circuit so that display reversed in the right and left may be performed only on the liquid crystal panel of either type and compositing the pictures of the liquid crystal panels of plural types on a dichroic surface. SOLUTION: A cube prism 11 is constituted by sticking four prisms obtained by forming a dichroic layer reflecting a specified wavelength light on the inclined surface of a right angle prism. A blue reflection surface 12 reflects a blue light beam 19 transmitted through a blue display liquid crystal panel 16 to a projection lens 10 side. A red reflection surface 13 reflects a red light beam 17 transmitted through a red display liquid crystal panel 14 to the lens 10 side. A green light beam 18 transmitted through a green display liquid crystal panel 15 is transmitted through the cube prism 11 and reaches the lens 10. Videos displayed on the liquid crystal panels 14 to 16 are composited as one color video, and projected to a screen by the lens 10. The driver circuit is constituted so that the display reversed right and left may be performed only on the panel 15. |
