<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single component type developer stable in toner chargeability and conveyability, superior in environmental stability, freed of fog and ghost, good in transferrability, freed of image dropout, and always high in image quality during uses for a long time. SOLUTION: This single component type developer comprising toner particles containing binder resin and a colorant and additives comprising a titanium compound obtained by reaction of TiO(OH)2 with a silane compound and a silica treated with a silicone oil or a silicone varnish, and it is preferred that the titanium compound is prepared by reaction of the TiO(OH)2 , obtained by a wet process, with a silane compound and the titanium compound has a specific resistivity of 10<8> -10<12>Ω.cm.</p> |
