FIELD: electrical engineering, gears sealing cable passageways through hull structures in shipbuilding. SUBSTANCE: proposed cable passageway includes body, module sealing members distributed into rows by fixing plates, pressure plate with sections bordering on side walls of body and end module. Mentioned sections of pressure plate have angular grooves where filling modules are positioned. Process of mounting of cable passageway consists in sealing of modules with cables, filling modules and end module by application of mechanical effort that causes translation of pressure plate put above fixing plate. This effort is applied with translation of pressure plate in excess of required translation. Mechanical effort is removed from pressure plate after installation of end module between pressure plate and body. EFFECT: increased functional reliability of cable passageway with simultaneous decrease of its dimensions, simplified dismounting of cable passageway. 5 cl, 3 dwg
