PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an emulator capable of shortening the debug time of a target program by easily detecting the setting omission of a control register for controlling peripheral function parts. SOLUTION: A flag is erected in the control register which is stored in a control register setting flag storing memory 18 by a target program in using the peripheral function parts. When the target program performs access to a data register during execution, a control register setting judging circuit 22 refers to a register information storing memory, obtains address information of the corresponding control register, refers to the control register setting flag storing memory 18 based on the address information and outputs a control signal for stopping the execution of the target program when the control register is not set yet. |
