PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a need of resetting a specified function of an image pickup device every time a device is used by storing the setting of the specified function of the image pickup device intrinsic to a user corresponding to data obtained by correcting a line-of-sight detecting error. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a system control means 1008 controlling the respective parts of the image pickup device, a memory 1009 for storing the various data, and an operation key detecting means 1004 for executing the function of an image pickup device. More setting is performed successively in the case of the correcting operation of the individual difference of an eyeball, and the individual difference correction data and the mode setting correction data are stored in the same memory address of the memory 1009. By setting a setting switch at a position registered by the user at the time of photographing, the eyeball correction data and the data on the specified function of the image pickup device intrinsic to the user can be used simultaneously. At the time of resetting without erasing line-of-sight detection correction data, the mode is set to a custom mode in accordance with the setting by the user, and the setting switch is turned on. |
