PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate movement between a computer and a cellular telephone set and to facilitate carrying of the telephone set by inputting data information from the portable computer to the cellular telephone set via an infrared ray interface. SOLUTION: Data information from a portable computer 164 is inputted to a microprocessor 58 via an infrared ray interface 182, an infrared ray interface 172 of a cellular telephone set 166. In this case, an infrared ray transmission signal 162 is used to avoid cable or jumper connection. Then data from the microprocessor 58 is sent to a transceiver 36 via a modem 64 and an analog exchange 56. Furthermore, the data are sent to an antenna 40 as a radio frequency signal from an antenna 38 and converted by a transceiver 42 and a cellular ground line equipment 44 and sent via a telephone line 46. Thus, movement between the computer and the cellular telephone set and carrying of the telephone set are facilitated. |
