PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a container preferably employed as a composition material of a lithium ion secondary battery by forming a coating layer made of a metal which is hardly alloyed against lithium on an inner circumference side face of a can body made of aluminum-based material. SOLUTION: An aluminum-based material is processed, and a bottomed cylindrical shaped can body 5 of about 0.1 to 1mm in thickness is formed. A copper coating layer 6 of at least about 0.1 micrometer or preferably about 1 to 10 micrometers in thickness made of a metal to be hardly alloyed against lithium is formed on the surfaces of an inside circumferential face 21 and of a bottomed face 52 of this aluminum-based material can body 5. Thus, when this container is employed as a composition material of a lithium ion secondary battery, a container 5 capable of housing the lithium in the can body, preventing reaction with lithium, and free of being alloyed is obtained. |
