The control valve consists of a gear change valve (11) and a valve body (12) with a control pressure chamber (15) for a fluid medium. A control element (22) which projects into the cylinder of the valve body (12) has a longitudinal boring (23) which connects the control pressure chamber with a regulating pressure chamber (16). At the end of the control pressure chamber remote from the gear change valve there is a pressure connection (27).
