Apparatus for supplying a powdered material to a product, e.g. bread crumbs onto a foodstuff, comprises a product transporter (1), a powder supply (4) and in the transport direction, a system to remove excess powder from the products (6). This consists of an open double-walled housing (7) connected to a fan (12) that blows air onto the products from two spaced openings (10). Guiding walls are arranged close to the fan to channel air back to the openings. |
