The method feeds air from the atmosphere to the compressor (1), which compresses it and thereby increases its temperature. The compressed air is fed to the heat exchanger (2), in which compressed and hot air is heat-exchanged with the ambient atmosphere and is thereby cooled under constant pressure, water being condensed out of the cooled air. The condensed water is conducted to a cooling channel in the compressor in order to cool it. - Gas pressure in the heat exchanger presses the condensed water through the compressor cooling channels. The compressor and the expander are of the screw rotor type. Air is blown against the heat exchanger. Water in the heat exchanger in the condensed state is taken out, finely distributed and then used to cool the surface of the heat exchanger. |
