PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve adhesion and wearing resistance of a coating layer constituting a coated cemented carbide cutting tool. SOLUTION: In a coated cemented carbide cutting tool, a thickness into contact with a base unit is constituted by an TiN layer of 0.1 to 1.2μm, and a layer coming into contact with the TiN layer is TiCN layer, by having maximum peak strength in a surface in X-ray diffraction (422), adhesion and wearing resistance characteristics between coating layers of the TiCN layer are enchanced.
