PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pattern forming method in which excessive cutting due to sandblasting and the failure to cut do not occur by performing preliminary cutting on a second cut area where cutting speed is slower than in a first can area. SOLUTION: A cutting speed in a second cut area 110b is slower than in a first cut area 110a. A preliminary cutting mask (sandblast resisting mask) 120 from which the second cut area 110b is exposed is provided over the entire surface of a cut layer 110, and preliminary cutting is performed on the second cut area 110b to form a preliminary cut recess (or hole) 130. Thus for the first cut area 110a where preliminary cutting is not performed and the second cut area 110 where the preliminary cutting is performed to form the preliminary cut recess 130, predetermined main cutting can be completed at the same time or substantially at the same time if main cutting is started by the same sandblasting. |
