PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain wood blocks having a far-infrared ray irradiating property and improving quality of foods and beverages by introducing a mixed solution containing an amphibole, etc., having prescribed granule diameter into a vacuum processing machine filled with wood blocks and depressing to seal the minerals within wall pores in the surf ace layer part of the wood blocks. SOLUTION: A mixed solution containing either mineral among each mineral of amphibole, granite porphyry, serpentinite and quartz diorite, each having <=5μm granule diameter with water and a dispersant such as sodium hexametaphosphate or with water is introduced into a vacuum processing machine 3 filled with wood blocks and pressure within the vacuum processing machine 3 is depressed to from -500 to -700mmHg, then wall pores in the surface layer part of the wood blocks are opened, thus the mixed solution is press-penetrated into the opened wall pores and the wall pores are closed by returning the vacuum processing machine 3 to atmospheric pressure, then the minerals are stopped within the wall pores in the surface layer part of the wood blocks, thus the wood blocks are taken out and dried in a drier. |
