<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding device to prevent the occurrence of jamming when the number of paper sheets is too high and also when a face curl occurs to the paper sheet. SOLUTION: An automatic paper feeding device comprises a paper table 2 on which laminated paper sheets 1 are placed; a conveyance belt 5 to convey the paper sheets 1 on the paper table 2, in order, from a lowermost paper; a side fence 3 and an end fence 4 to position the lateral direction and the position of the rear end of the paper sheet 1; an air injection means 10 to blow air against the paper sheets 1 on the paper table 2: an air suction means to suck the lowermost paper of the paper sheets 1 to the paper conveying means; a detecting means 15 to detect the height of the paper sheets 1 set on the paper conveying means; and a stop claw 16 to control the feed of the paper sheets 1 by means of a signal from the detecting means 15. When the number of the paper sheets 1 is higher than the given number of the paper sheets, the feed of the paper sheets 1 is stopped by the stop claw 16 through detection of it by the detecting means 15, a double feed is prevented from occurring, and jamming is prevented from occurring.</p> |
