The valve cartridge (2) contains the valve elements. The valve element for setting the mixing ratio and the total through-flow is operated by a hand lever (4) in two degrees of freedom. The hand lever joined to the valve element swivels on two pivot axles at right angles to each other and positioned in the valve cartridge. The hand lever protrudes from the side of the casing of a lever-head housing in the form of a sleeve (3) rotatably held round the first pivot axle. The sleeve near the main body (1) is guided along one end side, and is axially secured by a bayonet fastening formed by a collar (50) which has radially outward protruding catches (501), and matching radially inward protruding ring-segments (31) on the sleeve and which have gaps (32) for the catches. The hand lever goes through a slot (33) in the sleeve.
