PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the breakdown of data stored in an IC card without performing such operations as the switching-off of a power supply, etc., when an IC card is mounted and dismounted. SOLUTION: A door 2 is energized in the direction opposite to an arrow A by a coil spring 15 which is attached to a rotary shaft 14, so that an opening 16 is covered (at the position shown by a dotted line). The door 2 is turned by the pressure toward the arrow A and therefore a switch drive bar 17 turns toward an arrow B. Thus, the push of a switch knob 19 of a a switch 18 is canceled and the contact connection is cut. Then the power supplied to an IC card 11 via the contact of the card 11 touching the connector contained in an IC card holder 13 is also cut. In such a constitution, the data can be protected from its breakdown that is caused by the mounting and dismounting of the card 11. |
