<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an important record from being erroneosuly erased by providing a recording inhibiting section and stopping recording operation upon reaching the inhibiting section during recording. SOLUTION: Count values of the first and the last position of a desired arbitrary section for recording inhibition of a tape cassette 1 are specified by operating keys 16, and information of this specified section is stored in a memory 6 from a microcomputer 15. Then, when a tape traveling amt. count value by a counter 19 of the cassette 1 falls within the inhibiting section, recording is inhibited. That is, when the cassette is loaded into a deck to sart recording, if a count value at this time falls outside the inhibiting section read out of the memory 6, recording is started up. However, even after this recording is once started, a count value of the counter 19 and the inhibiting section read out of the memory 6 are collated with each other to detect whether the count value falls within the inhibiting section or not. Then, at the time of nonarrival in the inhibiting section, the recording is continued, and at the time of showing the inhibiting section by the count value, the recording is finished at once.</p> |
