<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restart simulation at a place which is traced back to in steps so as to improve debugging efficiency by storing a value or state after or before variation, and restoring the value or state before the variation when execution cancellation in step units is instructed. SOLUTION: In a buffer 108 consisting of a ring buffer, variables which are the maximum quantity of data stored therein and two points indicating the start point and current position of the data stored therein are prepared. The value or state of an element, which varies in value or state as a steps is executed, before the step is executed is stored in the buffer 108 while made to correspond to information specifying the step. A CPU 102, when execution cancellation in step units of executed simulation is instructed, restores the value or state of the element, varied by the execution of the step to the value or state before the execution of the step which is read out of the buffer 108.</p> |
