<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly accurate position detector having high operability without connecting a position indicator anywhere. SOLUTION: One of loop coils 11-1 to 11-48 is selected by a selection circuit 20, a transmission circuit 40 is connected to the selected loop coil through a connection switching circuit 30 and a prescribed AC signal is applied to the coil to generate a radio wave, which is received by a tuning circuit 61 in a position indicator 60 for specifying a position. A receiving signal induced in one of the loop coils 11-1 to 11-48 by the reflected radio wave is detected by connecting the loop coil to a receiving circuit 50 through the selection circuit 20 and the switching circuit 30. The operation is repeated for respective loop coils 11-1 to 11-48 and the coordinate value of an indicating position is calculated by a processor 70.</p> |
