摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a good operational performance, while suppressing degradation of a battery by switching the control of a generator and an engine for driving the generator through a control means, depending on a plurality of modes for suppressing degradation of the battery. SOLUTION: A control section 16 controls the battery temperature, read out through a temperature sensor mounted on a battery 12, crank angle signal from an engine 10, generator torque from a generator 11, input/output of a motor 13, charge/discharge of the battery 12, output of the generator 11, start/ stop of the engine 10 for driving the generator 11, r.p.m. due to a throttle valve, etc. Since the engine is controlled to set an operating method for each mode by switching the operating mode of a power generating system, base don the temperature and the charging amount of the battery 12 and the output demand of the driving motor 13, a good operational performance can be ensured, while suppressing degradation of the battery.
