PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain airtightness by restraining generation of thermal stress in a sealing part of a cell of a fuel cell and a separator, and enhancing chemical stability of the sealing part in a plate type solid electrolyte fuel cell. SOLUTION: A sintered body by baking oxide ultrafine powder having a melting point higher than an operating temperature of a solid electrolyte fuel cell and an average particle diameter not more than 0.5μm at 1000 deg.C to 1200 deg.C, is used as a sealing material of a cell 20 of a fuel cell and a separator 15. A material which is chemically stable in a high temperature oxidizing-reducing atmosphere and whose thermal expansion coefficient approximates to a constitutive material of the cell 20 of a fuel cell, is also selected as this sintered body. |
