PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new elastomer having contradictory properties, i.e., long- term stability and rubber elasticity corresponding to those of vulcanized rubber in a wide temperature range from a high temperature to a low temperature as well as good moldability. SOLUTION: (a) An ethylene/α-olefin/nonconjugated diene copolymer rubber, (b) a styrene thermoplastic elastomer, (c) a rubber cross-linking agent, (d) a rubber cross-linking catalyst, and (c) a hydrolyzable silane compound and a radical generating agent are used as raw materials, and after a silane grafting step and a step of dynamic cross-linking of rubber, (f) a silanol condensation catalyst is added and they are mixed and shaped, followed by cross-linking with water.
