PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cosmetic or pharmaceutical composition which contains an extract from an iris plant in an effective amount, is effective for reducing wrinkles and/or fine wrinkles and used for relaxing and/or soften skin and/or subcutaneous tissues. SOLUTION: This composition at least contains an extract from an iris plant in an effective amount. The extract is obtained by extracting the whole body of a plant prepared by in vitro cultivation and the plant is selected from Romulea, Crocus, Iris, Gladiolus, Sisyrinchium or Hermodactylus, particularly from Iris and the extract from Iris pallida is preferably used. The amount of the extract is preferably 0.01-20wt.% based on the whole weight of the composition in the cosmetic composition, while preferably 0.0130wt.% in the medicinal composition. |
