<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deflection in a hollowed condition of a bottom plate and paper, when paper is loaded on the bottom plate, and prevent a double feed and unfeed caused by this deflection. SOLUTION: This paper feeder is constituted so as to have a paper feed tray 5, bottom plate 7 set up turnably in a vertical direction in the paper feed tray 5 to be loaded with paper, paper feed roller pressed by paper in the uppermost loaded on the bottom plate 7 to feed this paper and a bottom plate lift mechanism turning the bottom plate 7 in accordance with decreasing of paper on the bottom plate 7. Here, in an almost central part in a width direction of paper orthogonal to a paper feed direction of paper, in the vicinity of the turn center of the bottom plate 7, a paper holding part 12, into contact with a lower surface of paper in the lowermost loaded on the bottom plate 7 to hold the paper, is provided. The paper holding part 12 holds the paper loaded on the bottom plate 7, even when a large amount of paper is loaded on the bottom plate 7, a load acting therein is lessened, the bottom plate 7 and the paper are prevented from deflecting in a hollowed condition.</p> |
