A spot welding clamp incorporates two arms of aluminium or aluminium alloy respectively carrying an electrode holding head in their leading part. These arms incorporate at least one channel (3) connected to a device for the circulation of a cooling liquid. Each arm is made up of a pair of components or half-arms (1), preferably symmetrical with respect to a median longitudinal plane. Each arm component (1) presents on its assembly face (1a) at least one semi-circular channel (2) that is complementary with a semi-circular channel on the assembly face of the other component of the pair forming the arm of the welding clamp. One of the semi-circular channels (2) receives a tube (4) of a polymer material such that when the components (1) are assembled a circular channel (3) enclosing the tube (4) is formed in the arm of the welding clamp. |
