The child's cycle has a plastics fairing (17) enclosing its frame and the chain transmission. The fairing is composed of two opposite shells (18,19) which are coupled together by complementary fixings. The two symmetrical shells form a mudguard assembly (21) for the cycle rear wheel and the parts forming the chain guard.
