Electric contact socket design

The electric contact (10) includes a reception socket (20) and a separate spring element (40) which is mounted in the interior of the reception socket. The spring element comprises a first section (43) which is mounted to a surface area (23) of the reception socket, and a second section (46) which extends from that surface in direction to the interior of the socket. The second section (46) is movable with respect to the first section and to the socket, to produce a connecting power, if a plug-like contact element is inserted in the socket. The second section of the spring element is formed in opposite direction with respect to the first section, in such way, that it extends in direction to a plug connector side (29) of the socket (M), and that it is movable in direction towards the first section of the spring element.
